Most places in Paris do not Carter to people with disabilities. Hilton Paris Opera does not have accommodations at the main entrance for persons with disabilities. Was informed I would have to use the back door entrance to get my Dad in/out of the building since the main entrance would not work.

While the Paris Metro isn't very accessible, we were able to go everywhere we wanted to go using the RATP trams and buses. Sidewalks were generally accessible and Parisians had pretty good transport etiquette in terms of helping and making sure that the designated spots on board the buses were made available to me. The new electric buses, with two "parking spots" were especially easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised at how accessible the city was.
