Sidewalks are narrow in some places. Lots of cobblestone roads, but it's doable.

Everyone was very helpful but the lack of ramps in a lot of stores was disappointing.

While the museum’s and churches did have options for those with mobility issues, the streets are not very conducive to wheelchairs. However, Rome is a city with deep history and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

Some sidewalks had ramps but then I’d come to some that didn’t. Most of the historical center had cobblestones that were very difficult to push through.
