Istanbul has a lot of very narrow and steep streets, which makes it a challenge, but you can’t really change the streets; so we accept that.

Roads and pavements not very conducive for people with disabilities scooters or wheelchairs.

Some places are not so wheelchair friendly but at the end, is a nice city and our hotel personnel help us in many ways, giving us a lot of tips to explore the city on wheels… We recommend to take taxis, they are not so expensive and make everything easier.

Es una ciudad antigua con aceras en ocasiones bastante altas, calles con adoquines y mezquitas en ocasiones no accesibles para una silla pero la gente es tan tan amable, se desviven por ayudarte, que los problemas que surgieron, se solventaron gracias a ellos. He de decir que parece que la ciudad se está adaptando y eliminando barreras arquitectónicas. Sin duda una ciudad para visitar.
