The cathedral and its museum in Girona are generally accessible to people with reduced mobility, but there are some areas that may be difficult to access due to steps or other barriers. The main entrance to the cathedral is accessible by ramp, but you must go around the cathedral and enter through the Plaza de los Apóstoles. This entrance has two steps higher than 5 cm that may be difficult to navigate. Most of the visitable areas within the cathedral and its museum are accessible, including the Museum-Treasure and the interior of the cathedral. The cathedral is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 18:00, and on Sundays and holidays from 12:00 to 18:00. It is closed on December 25, January 1, and Good Friday.

Fundació Rafael Masó / Casa Masó

Casa Masó is the birthplace of the architect Rafael Masó i Valentí and serves as the headquarters of the Rafael Masó Foundation. It is located at 29 Ballesteries street in Girona and is a symbol of the development of Noucentisme in the city. The main entrance to Casa Masó has a step of more than 5 cm and two manual folding doors that may be difficult to navigate. There is an alternative entrance for wheelchair users that is accessible without steps, which can be accessed by contacting reception or calling +34 972 413 989.

The interior of Casa Masó can be easily accessed by most visitors. All rooms are accessible, except for the stairs, which can be accessed via an adapted elevator. The building, which dates back to the 19th century, has narrow doors and passages with a width of less than 80 cm and a slight unevenness of less than 5 cm. These challenges can be overcome through an alternative route.

The basilica is known for its slender bell tower from the 14th-16th centuries and its interior, which preserves outstanding works of art such as the eight pagan and early Christian sarcophagi from the 4th century and the recumbent Christ from the 14th century by the master Aloi.
