Rome is a great city, plenty to do and see with friendly & helpful people. Lots of cobbled pavements and large kerbs (not a complaint as we appreciate they’re ancient streets) which were difficult in the wheelchair but we managed to do almost everything we wanted to do.

We would love to come again when we don’t require a wheelchair as is very cobble and hilly.

At times it was very difficult to navigate around the streets of Rome, but I think that had more to do with the fact that it was so crowded and hard to maneuver around so many people. Also, some of the places we went did not have ramps on the sidewalks so that was a bit challenging. It was a bit challenging too to fold up the scooter that I was given and we always had to make sure the taxi we got could accommodate it.
