Not wheelchair friendly where we stayed, steep and even ubers cancelled all the time because pickup was few hundred meters from hotel. Had to use crutches most of the time. Bigger museums and tourist attractions have better facilities

Schmale Altstadtgassen, hohe, schmale Bürgersteige, keine Rampen, ÖPNV nicht überall mit Rollstuhl nutzbar, Istanbul ist daher nur sehr eingeschränkt für die Nutzung eines Rollstuhls geeignet

Es una ciudad antigua con aceras en ocasiones bastante altas, calles con adoquines y mezquitas en ocasiones no accesibles para una silla pero la gente es tan tan amable, se desviven por ayudarte, que los problemas que surgieron, se solventaron gracias a ellos. He de decir que parece que la ciudad se está adaptando y eliminando barreras arquitectónicas. Sin duda una ciudad para visitar.

Istanbul has a lot of very narrow and steep streets, which makes it a challenge, but you can’t really change the streets; so we accept that.
