Nekropole von Puig des Molins
The Archaeological Museum of Ibiza and Formentera has two locations, both in the city of Ibiza. The museum in Dalt Vila neighborhood is difficult to access for people with reduced mobility due to stairs and narrow streets. On the other hand, the Monographic Museum of Puig des Molins is accessible to people with reduced mobility and is located in the archaeological site of the Necropolis of Puig des Molins. At this museum, visitors can learn about the history of the site and the most important archaeological materials found in the necropolis. The Puig des Molins was the cemetery of the city of Ibiza throughout antiquity, dating back to its foundation by Western Phoenicians in the late 7th century BC. The museum has parking for people with reduced mobility next to the building and people with disabilities have free admission.
At the entrance to the building there are 4 parking spaces reserved for PMR, but the sidewalk is not lowered and is 75 cm wide at the narrowest part.
The main door has several steps but there is an alternative route accessible by a lift located next to the street door. To use the elevator it is necessary for a museum operator to come down with a key.
There are two access doors: the first opens inwards, has a free passage width of 2.20 m and is located on the ground floor. Then you get to the elevator and once used, you access through the second door, which is automatic and has a free passage width of 1.80 m.
The exhibition halls are distributed on the 1st and 2nd floors of the museum and the itinerary is accessible using the elevator.
Adapted bathrooms:
There is one adapted toilet cabin that is independent and shared by both sexes. It is located on the first floor, next to reception and the itinerary is accessible. It is marked with the International Symbol of Accessibility (SIA). The general door and the cabin door open inward and are 88 cm wide. Inside, there is a free 360° turning space. The toilet has a free approach space on the right side that is 80 cm wide and on the front that is 1.20 m. The seat is at a height of 50 cm and the discharge mechanism is at 90 cm. It has a folding support bar on each side at 57 cm and 76 cm high, with a separation between the two of 72 cm.
The museum is open every day except Mondays and holidays.

Ushuaïa Ibiza
Ushuaia is a trendy club in Ibiza that has a hotel, an incredible nightclub with the best DJs in the world, several restaurants, swimming pools, access to the beach, and much more. All of this is also designed for people with reduced mobility, with several adapted rooms and different sections of the complex that are perfectly designed for those in wheelchairs. We recommend contacting them in advance to book, as availability may be limited. In Ushuaia, you can enjoy several restaurants and bars, and you can also request a VIP table where you can relax and have a drink while enjoying the best music on the island.
From the Ibiza airport, you can reach Ushuaia Beach Club by taxi, bus, private car, or on foot. The fastest option is a taxi, which costs between €8 and €12. The bus takes about 15 minutes and has adapted seats for people with reduced mobility.

Ibosim Brewhouse. Ibiza Beer Company
The Ibiza Beer Company is a local business located in Port des Torrent, which can be accessed by wheelchair. At their workshop, you can see how they make their ancient beers using local, zero-kilometer products. During the tour, you will learn about the beer-making process and the types of raw materials used. Afterwards, you can enjoy a guided tasting of six of their beers, accompanied by a snack of local cheeses.
The visit lasts approximately 2.5 hours and costs €30 per person.
Please note that advance booking is required by phone or email.
A good option for a day in Ibiza may be to visit the small but beautiful island of Formentera.
The Balearia company has ships adapted for people with reduced mobility in which you will find the following services:
Adapted seats (with a folding armrest and seat belt)
Adapted bathrooms in common areas
Safety anchors for wheelchairs
If the ship has cabins, they will be enabled
We recommend that you indicate if you need assistance or if you have reduced mobility in your reservation and at the time of check-in so that they can provide you with the best possible care, and you are informed of the services of the ship on which you are going to travel.
The approximate price of a round trip is about €40 per person. You can also add the price of your vehicle if you want to travel with it. Alternatively, you can rent a vehicle once you arrive in Formentera.
The journey takes about 30 minutes and will drop you off at the Sabina port, where you can easily rent a car. Europcar, for example, has adapted vehicles and facilities with toilets that are accessible for people with reduced mobility at their Sabina location.
Once on the island, there are many things to see and do. We recommend visiting one of the two accessible beaches: Es Pujols and Es Arenals. These beaches have access ramps, shaded areas, and adapted bathing chairs for people with reduced mobility. The lifeguard service is also prepared to assist any users who need help in the water. The chairs are amphibious, with floats on the arms to allow them to float, and the ramps are adapted to the special measurements of the chairs. The lifeguard post also has a shaded area for bathers, as well as a reserved parking area for these users.
After a swim, we recommend visiting one of Formentera's lighthouses: Cap de Barbaria or La Mola. Both offer incredible views of the Mediterranean and are easily accessible by car, with nearby parking.
Finally, we suggest eating at "Es Mal Pas," a very authentic restaurant that is also accessible for people with mobility problems.

Or to the restaurant owned by Nandu Jubany "Can Carlitos" which is also accessible and where you can taste incredible dishes inspired by the Mediterranean and Formentera and which is already in the port of La Sabina, from where you can catch the ferry back to Ibiza.

Cala Longa has set a high standard for beach and sea access many resorts are now following. We stay on Es Canar which is relatively flat and most facilities have access. Some historical locations such as Eivissa old town itself obviously suffer the limitations of ancient architecture but as a whole the resorts are widely accessible.
The population are overwhelmingly helpful in every town inland and coastal.
Ihr Ibiza Führer
Ibiza is one of the Balearic Islands, an archipelago of Spain in the Mediterranean Sea. Ibiza became famous in the 70s thanks to its hippies and has continued to accumulate fame for its lively nightlife, where major European nightclubs have summer branches.
However, Ibiza also has tranquil villas, yoga retreats, and beaches, from Playa d'en Bossa, which is lined with hotels, bars, and shops, to quieter sandy coves with pine-clad hills behind them, found all along the coast.
About 160,000 people live in Ibiza throughout the year, but the population multiplies in the summer months.
Ibiza's coastline is 210 km long and features more than 40 rocks and islets of various sizes. The maximum distances of the island are 41 kilometers from north to south and 15 kilometers from east to west. It has a very irregular morphology formed by several mountains, the highest of which is Atalayasa, located in the municipality of San José, with an altitude of 475 meters.
From www.motion4rent.com, we bring you some important information, places of interest, and tourist offices, as well as accessible beaches, adapted excursions, theme parks, accessible restaurants, and other offers for visitors with reduced mobility. Enjoy your stay!

The Eivissa-Ibiza City Council has been working for years to make the municipality accessible for all citizens and visitors, so that they can move around the city without difficulty and safely.
With the goal of improving the quality of life for people with disabilities, all the reform works that are carried out aim to improve the pavement and accessibility in the streets of the entire city, eliminating architectural barriers in public roads, on beaches, and in public buildings.

Transport
Airport:
The plane is the most commonly used means of transportation to get to Ibiza. It is much faster and more comfortable than the boat. The plane is also used by those who visit Formentera. They arrive by plane to Ibiza and then take a ferry to Formentera.
Ibiza has permanent connections throughout the year with main national destinations and some international ones. During the tourist season, many additional connections are opened with other Spanish and international destinations.
The Ibiza airport is located about 7.5 km from Ibiza town, the island's capital, and less than 4 km from Playa d'en Bossa, one of the most popular areas. From there, you can travel by bus to various towns on the island without having to transfer.
According to Regulation (EC) 1107/2006 of the European Parliament, and in compliance with it, Ibiza Airport offers a free assistance service for passengers with reduced mobility.
This assistance service is available to all passengers with reduced mobility or disabilities, and can be requested at least 48 hours in advance to ensure that your entire trip is prepared from the moment you arrive at the airport.
From the airport, you can use the following bus lines (some of which are adapted, not all):
Line 10 Airport - Ibiza City
This line connects the airport with various points in the Ibizan capital, such as the Ibiza bus station, the most important transportation hub on the island, or the Port of Ibiza (ideal for those going to Formentera).
Frequency varies between 15 and 30 minutes depending on the season.
Line 24 Airport - Santa Eulalia - Es Canar - Cala Nova
This line connects the airport with the tourist areas of Santa Eulalia and with Es Canar and Cala Nova. This line runs from May to mid-October and runs every hour.
Line 9 Airport - Sant Josep - Sant Antoni de Portmany
It connects the towns of San Josep and Sant Antoni de Portmany with the airport with a frequency of half an hour during the months from June to October.
Taxi: https://www.taxiibiza.net/
In Ibiza, there are several taxi companies, and practically all companies have a vehicle adapted to serve customers with reduced mobility. Here is a link to the Ibiza and Formentera taxi federation where you can quickly and easily get a taxi:
To leave the airport, you can use a taxi. The taxi stop is located in the arrivals area. As an estimate, the ride from the airport could cost you: 15-20 euros to Ibiza City, 28-35 euros to San Antonio, and 30-35 euros to Santa Eulalia.
The airport has a taxi rank next to the terminal, two of which are adapted for people with reduced mobility. If necessary, and they are not at the stop, you can call Radio Taxi de San José at (+34) 971 800 080.
Angepasste Strände
Ibiza has 25 beaches and coves that are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Almost all of them offer total accessibility, which allows travelers and residents with reduced mobility to enjoy reserved parking, walkways, shaded areas, adapted services, and assisted bathing with amphibious chairs.
We recommend calling the town councils of each area to confirm that everything is still valid, as some beaches may have changes in accessibility.
Sant Joan: (+34) 971 33 30 03
Santa Eulària: (+34) 971 33 28 00
Vila: (+34) 971 397 600
Sant Josep: (+34) 971 800 125
Sant Antoni: (+34) 971 34 01 11
To confirm the facilities available in the new season and even the possibility of reserving the use of an amphibious chair for one or more days, we recommend calling the town councils of each area. Cala Sant Vicent is one of the most accessible beaches in the north of Ibiza.
Accessible beaches in the north of Ibiza:
Port of Sant Miquel,
Benirras,
Arenal Gros de Portinatx
Cala San Vicente.
During the summer, the bathroom escort service is available from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Accessible beaches in the east of Ibiza:
On the east coast of Ibiza there are two of the best adapted beaches in Ibiza:
Cala Llonga
Santa Eularia
We also highly recommend the urban beach of Santa Eulària des Riu as it is one of the best adapted in Ibiza.
Accessible beaches in the south of Ibiza:
The area of Vila and the south of Ibiza also has accessible beaches for people with physical disabilities.
Talamanca
Ses Figueretes
Playa d'en Bossa
Ses Salines
All of them have walkways, accessible showers, assisted bathing, amphibious chairs and plastic crutches.
Accessible beaches in the west of Ibiza:
Cala Bassa
Cala Vedella
Port des Torrent
It's Pouet
Punta Pinet
s'Arenal
Caló des Moro
Cala Gracio
salt cove
All of these beaches have an assisted service, except for Cala Salada. To ensure the use of an amphibious chair, it is advisable to book in advance by calling the Sant Antonio or Sant Josep town halls, depending on the beach you want to go to.
Nachbarschaften / Gebiete
Street markets:
On the Island of Ibiza, there are many markets known as "Hippies," but we want to recommend two of them that we can confirm are accessible to people with reduced mobility. The first is held every day in the city of Ibiza (Mercado de Figueretas), and the second is held on Saturday nights (Santa Gertrudis Market) from May to October.
The Ses Figueretes market can be visited during the summer, from May to October. It is open from 19:00 to 00:00 every day. It has 24 stalls located on a pleasant promenade, next to bars and restaurants, where you can find small artisanal treasures, many of which are designed and produced on the island. These treasures include clothing, jewelry, ceramics, bags, and decorative objects.
Address: Ses Figueretes Promenade , Ibiza
.The Santa Gertrudis flea market is a great place to spend hot summer nights. Remember that it only opens on Saturdays from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., and is located on a pedestrian street in front of the church and the town cemetery. The center of this town is pedestrianized, so walking around the terraces and the square in front of the church is a very pleasant experience. The market has few stalls, 22-25, but in them, we can find authentic artisan wonders, ranging from unique paintings to jars of honey produced and packaged on a nearby farm.
Address: Carrer de la Venda des Poble, Santa Gertrudis, Ibiza
Ibiza Promenade
The promenade of Ibiza, also known as the Paseo de Juan Carlos I, is a 100% accessible sea walk on a wheelchair.
The promenade is on the other side of the Port of Ibiza, in front of La Marina, so we can enjoy views of the port and also the Dalt Vila neighborhood.
The Paseo begins right in front of the El Divino Apartments, and from there we head towards the "Torrent de Sa Llavanera," immediately after which we find the 5-star Ibiza Gran Hotel, as well as the Ibiza Casino, both with entrances through the Paseo Marítimo.
We continue advancing, and the walk continues for approximately 2 km more, in which we will find garden areas, benches, playgrounds, bars, ice cream parlors, and shops of all kinds. At the end, we arrive at Marina Botafoch, the marina of Ibiza with several exclusive shops, and especially incredible sailboats and yachts.
If we continue walking along the Paseo Marítimo, we find s'Illa Grossa, an old island that was artificially joined to the mainland. s'Illa Grossa can be translated as 'Big Island,' although at its highest point it barely reaches 41 meters.
At the end of the walk we arrive at another old island artificially united: Botafoch. It is a well-known island, since at this point there is a picturesque lighthouse much photographed. Currently, the island of Botafoch has changed its appearance a lot, since a new breakwater emerges from it that closes off the port of Ibiza from the east. It is not possible to access the dam, but we can go around the lighthouse along a pedestrian path, from which we will have excellent views of Formentera.
Ibiza Boat Club: https://www.ibizaboatclub.com/
This is one of the few agencies that offer a boat route of about 3 hours that is accessible by wheelchair. If you're looking for a party, we highly recommend it. The approximate price is €90 per person, and you must be at least 18 years old.
Escape from the real world and enjoy an award-winning, all-inclusive boat party in Ibiza. Dance with the best international DJs as you cruise around the island. Enjoy the open bar and take a dip in the water.
Check-in begins half an hour before departure from the Playa d'en Bossa pier. Dance to the rhythm of the most current Ibizan electronic house music. Throughout the day, the crew will be on hand to ensure everyone has a good time.
Stop by the premium open bar for beer, sangria, soft drinks, water, and cocktails. Jump off the boat and take a dip in the crystal-clear water. Return to Ibiza in the evening and keep the party going all night long.
