La Old Town,proprio perché gli edifici sono storici,non è di facile accesso alle persone a mobilità ridotta,soprattutto i negozi del Royal Mile. Ma per quanto riguarda i monumenti,si stanno impegnando moltissimo;ho apprezzato tantissimo l'iniziativa del castello di Edinburgo di una navetta che su richiesta porta le persone a mobilità ridotta dalla spianata dove c'è il parcheggio fino in cima alla salita d'ingresso
