Frequently Asked Questions – Hire a Wheelchair or Mobility Scooter in Seville

Seville's warm Mediterranean climate, riverfront promenades and wide plazas make it a pleasure to explore with a mobility device. Between landmark sites and relaxed strolls along the Guadalquivir, you can refuel with tapas, pescaíto frito and a cold gazpacho at street-level terraces throughout the city.

1. Is Seville accessible for people with reduced mobility?

Yes—with nuances. The historic centre has level avenues and plazas (Avenida de la Constitución, Plaza Nueva) and many venues with step-free access, lifts and accessible toilets. Some older streets include irregular paving or narrow sections, but there are smooth alternative routes. In summer, plan outings in the morning or at sunset and make use of shade in parks and arcades.

2. Which accessible attractions can I visit with a mobility device?

Suggested routes that mix heritage, river views and food stops:

  • Royal Alcázar (grounds & gardens) and the Cathedral: main areas feature adapted routes; some parts of historic buildings may be limited.
  • Plaza de España & María Luisa Park: broad promenades and comfortable surfaces for longer rolls.
  • Guadalquivir riverfront & Triana: level stretches by the water with accessible tapas terraces.
  • Metropol Parasol (Las Setas) & Alameda de Hércules: contemporary, open spaces with wide pedestrian areas.
  • Archivo de Indias and shopping axes Sierpes/Tetuán: smooth surfaces and convenient resting spots.

Add tapas in Triana or Santa Cruz and a gelato break at street-level cafés to pace your day comfortably.

3. Where do you deliver the mobility equipment?

We deliver to hotels, flats, private addresses, Santa Justa train station, medical centres and Seville Airport (SVQ). You can also request delivery and collection at different addresses within the city.

4. Can I access museums and landmarks with a wheelchair or scooter?

Yes. Most major venues provide ramps, lifts and signed accessible routes. In very old buildings a few zones may be limited, but you'll find alternatives to enjoy the visit without barriers.

5. What's the best way to get around Seville with reduced mobility?

The most comfortable options are low-floor buses, the city tram and taxis. The metro offers good accessibility at many stations (varies by stop). Combine level pedestrian stretches with public transport for longer distances.

6. Which areas are the most comfortable to explore?

Avenida de la Constitución – Plaza Nueva, Plaza de España – María Luisa Park, Guadalquivir riverfront – Triana, Metropol Parasol – Plaza de la Encarnación and the Alameda de Hércules for their wide, level surfaces.

7. Do you offer same-day delivery?

In many cases yes, depending on availability and request time. Asking early helps secure your preferred slot.

8. Do you deliver on weekends and public holidays?

Yes. We operate deliveries any day of the week, including weekends and public holidays, subject to availability.

9. Is a refundable deposit required?

Some items may require a refundable deposit. The amount and conditions are clearly shown on each product page during booking.

Dans la cathédrale,de petits plans inclinés face à certaines toutes petites marches pourraient être d'un grand secours pour les personnes en fauteuil roulant.

The cobble streets make pushing the standard wheelchair very difficult. Several side streets have crevices that catch the front wheels and we almost tipped over
