As I was only meant to travel on the pavement this proved to be impossible on a few parts of the route on the main road into town. I had to switch sides of the road and travel on the road for three separate sections to access a pavement that had a slope to enter the pavement or one wide enough that did not have a lampost which restricted my route. It resulted in me having to reverse for about 70 metres along the payment which was a little awkward. Otherwise it was excellent within the town where the pavements were fully sufficient to accomodate the scooter.

In the town the pavements were ok, I just had to dodge the bumpy bits. The slopes to cross the roads were not good - some of them had quite bit steps at the bottom of the slope. I drove along until I found a safe slope and one that wouldn't damage the scooter. Most of the shops I went to had slopes in the doorway, but many still had a drop to the pavement - I would lift the wheels up onto the slope or leave the scooter (locked) outside.

Now they want my bank details to refund the deposit. I’m slightly worried about handing out my bank details
