My mum couldn’t use the scooter as we didn’t realise how far it was from old town. She used it once, not your fault just don’t realise hotel was that far up hill.

since Albufeira is hill sited location, it was not possible to reach beach and downtown without car - and transport the wheelchair by car. Downtown it was okey to move around, quality of pavement is challenging, also in other villages we visited (Lagos, Tavira, others).
