i actually didn't use the scooter during my stay because the streets where we went for the Freedom Trail were quite bumpy and buckled. My knee was doing pretty good so i used a crutch instead. Newer streets in Boston would have been easier, but so many of the sidewalks are buckled. If i had really needed the scooter, i think i could have made it work.

I was very pleased with the subway wheelchair access. All the conductors were very friendly and quick to come and put down the ramp for entry and exit.
