As an ancient city, there are areas where a scooter or wheelchair just aren’t an option. Tight streets don’t allow for turns on the equipment, except perhaps a manual wheelchair. Small stores aren’t mobility-friendly. And many of the old landmarks (specifically the Alcázar) don’t have ramps all throughout to allow for a really in-depth tour. But in the more modern places, street crossings have generous curb cuts and stores and hotels have more open floor plans.

A lot of cobbles and uneven pavements

Quite tricky to navigate the city with narrow pavements and cobblestones, but manageable.
