I wasn’t expecting the pick up to be in a personal apartment - I was expecting, and the information given was, that it was a shop front. That information would have been helpful to know. There was some confusion about a deposit having already been paid.

Booking procedure was easy and efficient. Only downside was that I asked for a basket and assumed that it would be just an average-sized basket fitted to the front of the scooter. Instead, it was a large box fitted behind the chair which made the scooter length too long to fit into all the lifts I came across - in hotel, on the BVG transport system etc. You need to make it clearer at the point of reservation what kind the basket is, how much length it adds.

Motion 4 rent was good however local contractor failed to communicate regarding issues with rental and motion 4 rent failed to intervene in those issues

Several lifts on the BVG system were out of order which sometimes caused problems trying to get to some tourist sights. II hardly came across any dropped kerbs through the centre, even if the kerbs were not too high. They still caused a lot of pain as I crossed the road.

The biggest problem was the pavements, the gap between the street and the pavement were too high! That was a big problem!

Pavements in good condition and dropped kerbs at every crossing Unfortunately i couldn't get the best use from the scooter as it was so cold in Berlin sitting still on a scooter moving at speed was effectively sitting still in my own wind chill factor which dropped the temperature from minus 7 to minus 10. Nothing much i could about that but the service was great
