Mit Rollstuhl ist Rom eher schwierig, aber mit Rollator gut zu bewältigen.

There was a lot of cobbles as i expected but scooter got over no problem at all. However Rome as a whole, there are few pavements with lowered areas for staying on the footpath. Roads were busy and dangerous. But I saw loads or Rome that I could not have had I not have the scooter

Although museums are mostly well equipped for wheelchairs, but sidewalks in Rome are quite random in that regard. Curb transitions to road surface can either be absent, or be not good enough (higher than 5cm) for electric wheelchair to traverse, and this happens randomly, which may absolutely block a person that is entirely unable to walk or stand. It would be really good if there were few really long streets through city center entirely free of this problem, would be good to have it marked some way.
