Average. Some of the pavements need to be flatter for a scooter. in Andrasy street on the way to Heroes Square, I had a terrible experience where I crossed the road on green lights and could not climb the pavement on the other side as it was too high for the scooter.

It depends whether you are in Buda or Pest. Two different terrains. The castle is difficult. Around the Fisherman’s Bastion north to the Vienna gate and down to the Sandor Palace is fine. I would stay off the bridges and most street but use the sidewalks. However the the greatest danger are pedestrians who don’t pay attention to where they are walking and those who go there nose stuck in their mobile/cellphone and walk right into your scooter.

Deben instalar más pisos bajos en aceras. Los comercios deben tener acceso a pie de calle, por ej Zara tien dos escalones. Algunos restaurantes y bares no tienen los baños en la planta baja

A few kerbs weren't quite flat and shops etc had steps very often but public transport was very accessible. Budapest Go app was rubbish for planning accessible journeys so we used chat gpt and google maps. Budapest Go left us stranded on a freeway bridge for a connecting stop which was at the bottom of a flight of steps. Locals were very helpful on the whole if a bit serious in demeanor. House of Terror was ok but a little bit tight in a manual chair.Weather was very hot so might go again in autumn or spring. Ensana Spa Hotel was perfectly situated.
