The wheelchair should have been collected on Thursday evening. When no one arrived I texted them and was told there had been a mishap and it would not be collected until Saturday morning. This was very inconvenient since we were leaving on Friday morning early and had to leave the wheelchair in a villa which was not owned by us and which we did not know if there would be anyone in occupancy. I therefore absolve myself from any responsibility for the wheelchair

Calella de Palafrugell is a beautiful uncommercialised Spa osh resort with very few English visitors. You have to plan your routes carefully to take into account dropped kerbs. The area is hilly and surfaces can be rough if you don't have knowledge of the area which I do have after visiting it for nearly 50 years.
