We were scammed by a Bolt taxi driver who has a Revolution account. They said the 10 min taxi ride would be about 4000 forints but tapped my phone wallet and took 90,000 forints, about 248 euros. I didn’t realise what had happened until next morning. Using your phone to pay makes it so easy for scammers. Neither Bolt nor Revolut nor the police would help. Be very careful, only use the state taxi service or City taxis in Budapest.

The streets are very accessible. Wide without too many steps.

Unfortunately Budapest is not very wheelchair friendly, but we had planned ahead renting a car and using the handicapped parking instead of metro or trams. Most museums and visits where adapted.

Gabor was great in communication, showed us how to use the wheelchair and was on time in delivery and pick up. Highly recommend.
