Thoroughly enjoyed it but Montmartre is a hard slog for wheelchair users, hilly and cobbles, however I knew this from my research for our holiday and it didn't detract from enjoying it.

Most of the pedestrian crossing facilities in Paris are very good but a few (particularly when using a wheelchair with small back wheels) require pulling the wheelchair backwards to mount the pavement

Cobblestones and changing curb heights/ curb cuts proved a challenge for my wife. The city might try to more clearly mark/illustrate routes being used by similar devices. I would suggest that the mayor be asked to navigate the city for one day using a comparable device in order to objectively experience the obstacles confronting those wanting to explore Paris (it’s wonderful!) along with others who do not have mobility challenges. Also, bicycles and motorized transport devices are a constant peril (although they are absolutely part of the fabric of Paris) and necessitate vigilance!
